waste management: a technical workshop with recyclers to drive the circular economy\" at its offices in Girona. The session was a key opportunity to share knowledge and present the Puertos 4.0 \u2013 CircularPort project to industry stakeholders.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The goal of the event was clear: to highlight the digital tools that are helping transition towards a more circular, efficient waste management model, while fostering collaboration among key players in the sector.<\/span><\/p><p>&nbsp;<\/p><h3 data-start=\"805\" data-end=\"852\"><span style=\"font-size: 16pt;\"><strong>An agenda designed to inspire and connect<\/strong><\/span><\/h3><p>&nbsp;<\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The event kicked off with a welcome speech by Denisa Gibovic, CEO of Blue Room Innovation, who shared the company\u2019s vision and commitment to innovation and sustainability.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Next, Carmen L\u00f3pez Quintana (cluster manager at CREC) spoke about the critical role of clusters as drivers of circularity and collaboration.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">One of the most anticipated sessions featured Juan Alba (Adalmo) and Arnau Navarrete (Blue Room Innovation), who discussed the importance of traceability and digitalization in waste management, as well as the opportunities to create new products from recycled material.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Another key highlight was the presentation of the Puertos 4.0 \u2013 CircularPort project by Xavi Tarr\u00e9s and Arnau Navarrete, showcasing the digital waste passport and its ability to connect recyclers, optimize processes, and bring transparency to the sector.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Attendees also enjoyed a live demo of the digital passport, experiencing firsthand how this solution works and its potential to transform waste management practices.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The event concluded with a session by Marc Mel\u00fas, CBDO of Blue Room Innovation, who presented funding and innovation opportunities for companies in the sector, followed by a Brunch &amp; Talk, providing valuable networking time for participants.<\/span><\/p><p>&nbsp;<\/p><h3 data-start=\"2161\" data-end=\"2190\"><span style=\"font-size: 16pt;\"><strong>Participating companies<\/strong><\/span><\/h3><p>&nbsp;<\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The event brought together a strong representation of leading companies and organizations in the sector, including:<\/span><br data-start=\"2306\" data-end=\"2309\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Zirkel, Tirgi, Recuperacions Auladell, Gremi Recuperaci\u00f3 de Residus, Hinojosa, Hotel Ultonia, Ecolius, Residus Osona, Soler Recuperacions, Casa Nuart, Pot SC, Femvi, i2CAT, Cl\u00faster de Residus, Adalmo, Ecoembes, Recuperaciones Hermanos Vill, Mobile World Capital, Prewaste and Femvi.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">This diverse mix of recyclers, technology firms, clusters, and industrial companies fostered rich discussion and positioned the event as a key meeting point for innovation in the waste management sector.<\/span><\/p><p>&nbsp;<\/p><h3 data-start=\"2810\" data-end=\"2852\"><span style=\"font-size: 16pt;\"><strong>Highlighting the role of Puertos 4.0&nbsp;<\/strong><\/span><\/h3><p>&nbsp;<\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">This event was a key dissemination action for the CircularPort project, which is being developed thanks to the support of <strong data-start=\"2979\" data-end=\"2994\">Puertos 4.0<\/strong>, the Spanish program that promotes innovation and digital transformation across the port system.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Through initiatives like this, <strong data-start=\"3126\" data-end=\"3150\">Blue Room Innovation<\/strong> helps make the opportunities offered by digitalization visible, promotes collaboration across the industry, and reinforces the role of Puertos 4.0 as a driver of the transition towards smarter and more sustainable
